GET TO KNOW ACRYLIC RUG YARN
Developed to capture the soft, matte feel of popular acrylic knitting yarns used by tufters, with a firm, stable structure for fiber art.
When tufted correctly, it holds its shape underfoot while staying soft to the touch and easy to carve. Use it for tufting, punch needle, crochet, knitting, weaving and fiber art.
PLAN YOUR NEXT RUG
Start with the area you’ll tuft. These estimates use an AK-V at its standard pile height of about 14 mm.
About 20 g per 10 × 10 cm
One 250 g cone covers about 0.125 m².
About 25 g per 10 × 10 cm
One 250 g cone covers about 0.1 m².
These amounts already allow for the strand count. Your tufting density, pile height and technique will affect how much you use.
