Primary tufting cloth is the fabric you stretch onto your frame and tuft into. Choose a size that covers your working area with enough extra fabric to secure it around the frame; the finished rug size alone is not the cloth size you need.

Check each listing's dimensions, material and ordering unit before purchasing. Primary cloth is different from the secondary backing used to finish the underside of a rug after tufting.
