Refund policy

If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, we want to know!

Returns
Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, then the refund will be assessed on a case by case basis.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. 

We have the right to charge a restocking fee on items that are returned without any specific reasoning behind the return. This is a % of of the items cost. 

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned:

Fabric (depending on the size - please ask)

Clearance and some sale items - if you aren't sure ask before purchasing. 

Additional non-returnable items: 
Gift cards 
Downloadable software products

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer!!

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable) Such as if:

  • Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
  • Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery.
  • If you refuse to pay duties and taxes and the item is returned to us.
  • The parcel is abandoned by the buyer.

Refunds (if applicable) 
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. 
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable) 
If you have not received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. 
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. 
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. 
If you have done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at hello@allthingseffy.com.

Exchanges (if applicable) 
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at hello@allthingseffy.com

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund. Please add a tracking number as I cannot be responsible for items lost in transit.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

Please Note, We do no Refund Order if you change your mind or it is lost in the mail. All NZ packages are sent with a tracking number to avoid this.

If you purchase from us internationally, you may choose a non-tracked option. If the item is lost in the mail, this is not our responsibility but we will do our best to remedy the situation!

If you choose a tracked option and it is still lost, we will then refund you for the items.

However, if an item is returned to us because you refuse to pay duty or taxes, you will not receive a refund. Similarly, if an item is returned to us because it violates your countries import policies, you may or may not receive a refund on the good (this will be product dependent) and you will not receive a refund on the shipping.

It is the shoppers responsibility to be aware of their countries import policies, duties, and taxes.
